CANIS-X Solar Red Dot Sight (RMR Cut) for Glock 19, Sig P320 & More | Multi-Reticle

This optic is very clear and high quality, and it's a great value for the money. The optic feels heavy and durable, it functions perfectly, and the brightness levels and features punch way above its price range. The battery is located in a tray on the side, which is convenient since you don't have to remove the optic and then rezero it when the battery dies. The optic also includes a solar panel as a backup in case the battery does die, which is normally only reserved for much higher end optics. The reticle itself can be changed from a dot, a crosshair, or both, which is also a premium feature. The brightness has a bunch of adjustments as well so you can set it to your preferred brightness. The shake awake feature works well and the windage and elevation adjustments have a nice click. So far after around 400 rounds through it, it has held zero and in haven't noticed it backing out or loosening. This is the best bang for your buck if you're looking for a budget optic with high end features.

I've used the Vintcon canis-x red dot for a few weeks now and I'm pretty happy with the features it offers at this price point.

Overall construction is very solid. Aluminum housing, IPX7 waterproofing and side mounted battery. Side or top mounted battery features are a nice touch and should be the standard on all modern micro red dots.

RMR footprint is the most common MRD footprint in the industry but it also comes with a nice picatinny mount with a spring retention mount. Easy to zero and has held zero for me on a lever action with 100 rounds so far. No experience yet on a reciprocating slide, but overall it has held up for my needs.

Glass is very good; almost perfectly clear. For this price point I��m very happy. Very slight tint of blue but does not obscure your field of view. Reticle is crisp and adjustable to many brightness settings. That being said, my solar auto adjustment for brightness feature does not work. That's one of the main benefits of the solar assisted optics is not only that it extends the battery life, but adjusts to the brightness of environment as well. My shake awake feature works if I've used it that day but once it sat for a week I did have to manually turn it on. This is to be noted for people using it as a carry optic.

Overall, still a very good red dot at this price point but I wish the shake awake and auto brightness adjustment were a little more reliable. I still recommend it at this price point.

You cab never have enough red dot sights for pistols and rifles. This gives you multiple reticle options and solar power for a great price. The size of the viewing window is a bit tight for high stress shooting, but simply looking through the hood gives you a good idea of where you're shooting while you find the dot or cross hair reticle. I plan on putting this on an RMR mount over a recce type 10x+ scope as a backup. Weighty little optic, feels well constructed and I plan to test that theory on a SCAR17. If it survives, it gets an extra 2 stars for survival.

Although my optic came in as a defect I was able to tell it was made sturdy I bought used and it still looked brand new their customer service was fast responding kind and very helpful to make sure I got my full refund

This is a truly exceptional sight at a great value. It's the first pistol optic I have seen with 3 reticle options, and I love it. The shake awake feature is both reliable and functional. It sights in reliably, and holds zero quite well. I did have an issue with the battery, but the manufacturer was super responsive and cleared up the problem quickly, with minimal fuss. I appreciate that level of support! Overall, it's a got a very high build quality. I attached it to my sub contact without any problems - fit like a glove! I have since put through a hundred rounds without any problems.

So far this has been a good red dot. Keeps zero pretty good on my 556 shorty, but I've only ran about 300 rounds through it with this attached. I put it on my most aggressive rifle that it would make sense using it on and it's been great. I like the fact that it has solar on it so I'll see how long it lasts. Shake awake works good on it too. Feels like less than a min or so and it turns off, and pops back on when I bump it. Doesn't move or slip around on the mounts either. Pretty solid.

Powered by the sun? Yes and also a backup battery, this little dot has a slightly larger footprint than some other dots in the market, but it is still very small. Fit well on my glock and functions as intended. It holds Zero after over 200 rounds and seems to be well made and rock solid. Now only time will tell if the solar power thing really holds up. So far so good I have zero regrets and zero complaints great sight.
